Shredding
We Provide Secure Data Destruction
Our approved shredder completely destroys Hard Drives, Discs and other magnetic media products to a particle size of either 20mm or 6mm, therefore meeting the most stringent Government requirements.
For On-Site Shredding a suitable secure space is required for the safe siting of a GPS tracked vehicle containing the shredder. The HDD/SDD for disposal are transferred to the vehicle by use of secure bins. Once inside the vehicle the shredding activity is undertaken with the shred particles transferred back to RecycleIT’s warehouse for further downstream disposal.
For Off-Site Shredding the HDD/SDD for disposal are transferred to the vehicle by use of secure bins then transferred back to RecycleIT’s warehouse for in house shredding. It is possible to shred approximately 160 drives to 6mm (CPNI approved) or approximately 400 drives to 20mm during a full working day.
